This stone is also known as Black Obsidian or volcanic glass. Used to ground energies; also helps soul reflection, forgiveness and consolation. Releases toxins and relieves cramps.

It is said the stone received its name from a tale of a bloody battle where many brave Apache warriors died and the Apache women who were so grief-stricken over the death of their brave warriors in battle shed so many tears. These tears then became petrified and turned to stone.
